Private

All iMessage content is analyzed completely locally, on-device, and is never sent to any server anywhere. This is just for you.

Intelligent

Local, on-device models bundle your messages into conversations and generate summaries without any private content leaving your device.

Automatic

iMessages, FaceTime calls, and Phone calls are automatically added as catch ups in real-time. No more manual logging.

Wait, so how does this work?

Answers to the frequently asked questions I’d imagine you may have for me.

What exactly do you mean by “private”?

This means that Queue only stores timestamps and recipient information for your iMessages, Phone calls, and FaceTime chats, never message content itself. In fact, Queue’s servers never have access to your iMessage content, or the summaries that can optionally be generated, at all. Messages are analyzed locally on your Mac by on-device Apple Foundation Models to determine which messages belong together in a conversation, whether you seem “caught up”, and to optionally generate a summary to show in the Queue app. Those summaries are stored in your private iCloud so they’re available across all your devices, and only you and your devices can read them.

Will Queue ever send messages on my behalf?

No. Absolutely not. Ever.

How does Queue get access to my iMessages and call history?

If you choose to enable syncing, the Queue app for macOS will request permission to read data from two specific folders on your Mac: one that contains your iMessage conversations and another that contains your Phone and FaceTime history. Queue doesn’t have access to any other folders on your computer, and will never write anything to either of these two locations. And you can absolutely grant access to just one and not the other. Or neither.

What do I need for syncing to work?

You’ll need a few things: a Mac running macOS 26 Tahoe or later, iCloud set up so that your messages, phone calls, and FaceTime chats are syncing to that Mac, the Queue app for macOS, and an active Queue subscription.

Can I control what gets synced?

Yes! You can turn iMessage sync, Phone call sync, FaceTime sync, and conversation summary generation on and off independently. And you can turn each of these settings on or off for specific people in your queue. So if you want to sync messages but not phone calls, or generate summaries for some people and not others, or any other combination of settings for any combination of people, you can absolutely do that.

Does my Mac need to be on for syncing?

Yes, Queue can only sync messages when your Mac is both turned on and awake from sleep. If it does fall asleep or get turned off during a sync, no worries, it’ll pick up where it left off when it’s back in business.

Does this work with WhatsApp, SMS, or Android?

SMS messages will be synced if iMessage forwarding is active for your phone number. WhatsApp messages won’t sync (yet!) unfortunately. And as Queue is designed for Apple platforms for the moment, Android is unfortunately not supported at this time either.
